Fettjeåfallet — Attraction in Bergs kommun

A fantastic Falls and like others said it's worth the 2 kms hike to the fall. The trail is still being developed.. Is walkable much easier than before with stone slabs and wooden bridges built kept on the way to make the walk easier. The fall is just too beautiful to miss! The parking is free but lack of signages and they are still measuring the count of people visiting it to develop the trail accordingly. There is a vindskydd and a Bbq place. Wood for the Bbq can be bought by swishing as well along the way...

You are halfway when you find the first woodshed, you don't normaly need to take from it, there is one at the fireplace too. But internet is bad at the fireplace, so please, take your time and pay when you return. It's a half pint ;)

Route is plan walking to the first bridge, then it's a hill, a new bridge and ~300m to fireplace, and a toilet hidden in the forest, bring with you toiletpaper. Or carve two sticks like the old times 😀

Not weelchair or...

Zunächst einmal muss man ein paar Kilometer über eine Schotterstraße fahren, nicht ungewöhnlich in Schweden.

Ein recht großer Parkplatz, es gibt auch einen Unterstand und eine Toilette. Übernachtungen sind hier ausdrücklich verboten, entsprechende Hinweisschilder sind vorhanden.

Die Wanderung zum Wasserfall ist eher ein etwas längerer Spaziergang, aber man sollte nicht in Birkenstock oder gar in FlipFlops gehen. Festere Schuhe reichen aber. Auf dem Weg zum Wasserfall hat man schon tolle Aussichtspunkte auf den Fluß und kleinere Wasserfälle und so bleibt man immer mal wieder stehen, guckt und fotografiert.

Der Wasserfall selber ist sehr beeindruckend, er stürzt nicht direkt in die Tiefe sondern in zwei Abschnitten. Man kommt auch direkt ran an den Wasserfall, es gibt keine Absperrung o.ä. und man kann diesen Anblick und auch den Blick ins Tal genießen. Wenn man nicht zu spät ist, dann hat man dieses Naturschauspiel quasi für sich alleine.

Am Wasserfall selber ist auch wieder ein Rastplatz und man kann und darf hier sogar grillen, ohne das man Eintritt bezahlen muss. Holz gibt es unterwegs, allerdings wird hier um einen kleinen Obolus gebeten, es kostet also Geld. Aber das Holz muss ja auch in die Natur gebracht werden.

Der Ausflug zum Fettjeåfallet lohnt sich auf jeden Fall, ein wirklich tolles Ziel und...
