Well, this is what I call a disappointment. Before I went to the Drottningholm Palace, they really made good advertising of The Chinese Pavillion and it also looked good online, so I thought myself I cannot miss it when I am already here. Therefore, I made a visit there. They already told me it was 20 minutes to walk, so it was fine. The thing that was not fine was, on the way to the Chinese Pavilion was no signs for orientation. I had to go there with Google Maps and I even got lost for a moment. Anyways, When I finally arrived there after 30 minutes, I entered the museum which I had to pay extra. I am honest, I do not know have any knowledge about Chinese Pavilion nor Chinese History, but in my opinion it was not interesting. There was not something inside that was so interesting for me to take a picture or read. I left it there after 10 minutes. If you go anyway, have fun going to the nearest bus station if you had an experience...

The Chinese Pavilion (Kina slott) is an extraordinary building in the Drottningholm Palace complex, being one of the most beautiful examples of European Rococo in Chinese style. Built in the 18th century as a gift for Queen Louisa Ulrika, the pavilion delights with its colorful facade, characteristic roofs, and rich decorations. The interiors of the pavilion are equally impressive, with furniture, porcelain, and other oriental artifacts that transport visitors to the distant world of Chinese culture. The Chinese Pavilion is not only an architectural masterpiece but also an important element of Sweden's cultural heritage, being part of the Drottningholm Palace complex, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is a popular tourist attraction that draws visitors from all over the world, offering them an unforgettable experience and insight into the 18th-century fascination...

One of the paid attractions in Drottningholm Palace area, this Chinese Pavilion used to serve as a private residence to the royal family, with decorations inspired by Chinese design. It's an interesting place to see, though there was not much explanation to the rooms if you're not using any guide, and the Chinese-ness seems to be slightly overdone. You can buy combination tickets with the Palace if you want to, but you won't be missing much if you choose to skip this place. Quite a simple building with overdone Chinese decor.
