Härkeberga Church — Attraction in Enköpings kommun

The vault murals by Albertus Pictor are well worth a visit! They have never been covered and so the colours, although old and tinted, are unusually sharp. There's what I assume is a quite hilariously non-PC caricature of a jew in the entrance vault, depicted as part of a collection of monsters ......

A delightful little church which is a little off the beaten track, but well worth a visit. The murals are exquisite and the audio guide - button towards the rear of the church - gives a fairly detailed description of the history of the church...
