Gotlands Zoo (Gotlands Djurpark) — Attraction in Gotland Municipality

An okay zoo. Quite small and not many activities going on. It's a help yourself and just look around quietly kind of place. Feels like being at someones private farm in a way. More fun for kids than adults, if you're not super into just looking at animals and maybe pet a few. Signs only written in Swedish, and they were few and not super detailed ones at that.

The animals seemed relaxed and content, they had fairly big spaces to walk around in. Some of the llamas had quite long and somewhat bent toenails though, I'm not sure if that's a sign of bad treatment, lack of rocks to walk on or whatever.

Cozy zoo and a great experience for the kids. You can pet the mini pigs, sheep, goats, rabbits and horses. They have a playground in the zoo as well nearby the restaurant. However, the food inside is very expensive (129SEK for lunch, 1 person). They have seating and a picnic area, so I would recommend bringing your own lunch/picnic. Don't expect a real "djurpark" because it is basically just a name put on a nicely kept farm. Nice, but for 120 SEK per grownup you do expect more. You will probably go here with kids and it is okay but they will only get access to sheep and goats so if they like petting rabbits and animals in general you should go to another farm.
