Read moreNice place to walk, even if you don't go inside for a small tour. Ample possibilities to 'hike' nearby, although experienced hikers will not find it all that adventurous. There's a surprisingly large shop with many hand-made and local products, as well as a little café/restaurant. The gardens were nice as well, with some colour-coded flowerbeds that were very neat! Almost all buildings also have some signage telling about it's history in Swedish...
Read moreThe castle grounds are beautiful! In the shop you can borrow lots of interesting materials, arts supplies and animal guides. It's a shame they didn't have guided tours to the castle in English... And also it's really rude that they don't serve tap water in the restaurant. The food was very good but very expensive! I would have at least expected to be served free...
