Brattfallet — Attraction in Hagfors kommun

Such a beautiful place will always remember Brattfallet. Really recommend going there, a super cool experience and definitely not something you will forget. You can walk several hiking trails, one that is very difficult, one that is in between and one that should not be difficult at all, I chose the one that was in between, although it would be relatively easy that hiking trail was still very demanding and you had to walk on rocks, but that was still fun. Lots of blueberries, so if you plan to pick berries, I would really choose Brattfallet's forests/nature reserve. When I was there and looked at the waterfall, there were high cliffs probably 10-25 meters high, there was no protection at all, no fence or anything, So you really have to be careful and watch where you walk because the risk of falling is high. But as the rating is about this location: Easy accessible, convenient hike to see the waterfall, possibilities to sit down and relaxed on picknicktables. Excuse me for sounding like a spoiled bastard; if you have seen waterfalls in Norway, or somewhere on the Alps looking at this waterfall is like looking at a romantic comedy instead of something more mature; relaxing, but the steam and thunder...

There is something here for everyone, whether you just want to enjoy a nice hike, or want to see waterfalls, or even learn a lot about the landscape and how it was formed during the last glacial period. Several hikes are possible, 1km, 2 km, and 7 km. We walked the 2&5 km hikes. Very different but both incredibly beautiful and varying, from gravel roads, to nice walking trails, to walking on loggs along streams and over bridges, through valleys...
