We had trouble finding out where to park our car cause all roads said "private". We then realised that the sign to the parking couldn't be seen from the road we came from. (You can park next to the restaurant called "boo natur".)
Overall we felt very confused about where we were allowed to go, didn't really get a welcoming feeling. It was also Sunday so everything (the restaurant and little shop near the stable) was closed and there was no sign that explained anything.
Other comments are saying you could pay 25 kr to see the garden, but we didn't see any information about that at all. The gates that didn't have private signs on them were closed so we were very confused if we were allowed to enter? I mean open closed gates feels wrong. A "welcome in" sign or something would have sufficed.
Instead we too a little walk to the church that's nearby to walk outside.
A really beautiful castle but I wished there was more information about the place that would explain what you can do there and where you're allowed to go. I'm glad we didn't drive too far cause this was our only reason for coming here. Ended up eating ice-cream at...
