A coastal fort (one of two) guarding an entrance to Karlskrona. It sits on one of the islands coming into port. Nice and quiet place. There is a free ferry from Karlskrona (near the naval museum) to the island. The ferry ride is about 20-30 min. Once off the ferry there is about 1 km walk to the fort through very picturesque single home neighborhood . Nice quiet and relaxing walk. Very disappointing fort. From the outside is looks good but the inside is very blank. The rooms are completely empty with no information about that particular room at all. The museum too was not infromative for foreigners as all the information was in swedish only. The restaurant also only provided the menu in swedish. It was a waste of time to come here, therfore I dont’t understand the other positive reviews of other...
