Vångabacken — Attraction in Kristianstads kommun

We have had a really bad experience with Vångabacken. 2 weeks in advance, we called into confirm whether the skiing place was open at the time we had planned to arrive, which the staff told us it was. We even asked if the weather would cause problems or have an impact on the snow and skiing opportunities, and they said there was no problem at all, because they had skiing canons to prevent the issue.

We really were under the impression that everything was fine. However, when we arrived nothing was fine. Everything was closed and there was no staff to help us out. It is extremely unacceptable with lack service, leaving us with a really bad experience, considering we had been travelling 4 hours from another country and spent a lot of money to get there and rented a place to stay just to ski.

When were at the empty skiing placed, we of course called to costumer service, which was difficult to reach, and when they finally picked up, the staff we spoke to was very rude and told us that the skiing place was closed due to the rainy weather, which was not true. We were there, and the sun was shining with no rain at all. It is a shame, because we had really looked forward to this weekend, and everything could have been fine, if you had been better at communicating.

Therefore we would definently not advice anyone to ever go there!

Bra backe med tillgång till toaletter, kafeteria(familjen får en lunch för 100-200 kr) och grillplatser. Personal finns överallt i och utanför backen för frågor och hjälp. Alla jag stött på är snälla. Kostar 340 kr för en halv dag och är enligt mig inte mycket för ett äventyr som detta. Backen är anpassad för nybörjare och avancerade åkare med tillgång till små och stora hopp. Ett bra minne och hopp för framtiden, alltså något att se fram emot, 7 av 7...

Not enough gear and huge lines... Might not be able to ride even waiting for 0.5 h so far.. Also not a beginner friendly mountain......
