Särö västerskog — Attraction in Kungsbacka kommun

I almost don’t want to share this place… Fantastic nature, easy to reach, some nice walking paths. It’s not a huge area but very beautiful. Parking lot can be full at some days, easy to reach via bus. There is also a lovely bike path from Göteborg (Slottsskogen) all the way to Särö, following and old railroad route. If you want some food I recommend Blomstermåla restaurant nearby. If you like architecture; there are some beautiful old houses in this area. (Now… if this place get’s crowded I will deeply regret that I was honest about...

The hill that encircled the nature reserve and the old town was lined with steep cobblestones and charming Swedish architecture, which brought to mind an idealized tavern from a fictional Western.
