Nice place to get to know more about #astronomy, specially the evolution of astronomical theories during history. You visit and open area with buildings and remains of buildings. The church shows equipment from that time and audiovisual with different thematic. Recommended also to have a look of the lovely gardens with herbs, fruits and vegetables. The highlight is to visit the recostruction of the observatory, rebuilt underground using the basement remains. They allow 12 persons in each visit because the small size of the room. Visit last there 15 minutes, they close the door and you enjoy after the total darkness voice in off explaining different objects enlighted one by one. Not a good experience if you are claustrofobic. Nice place to get your kids in contact with astronomy and nature. And wonderful location for a whole day to visit the rest...
Read moreThe museum is a little underwhelming. I have seen and very interesting documentaries about tycho brahe and i was hoping the museum would be similar interesting. The museum is more about his biography and not so much about how he worked or figured all these things out. The museum could explain how you as a normal person could kind of observe the night skies like he did and how to get to the right conclusions.
