Öna kulturreservat — Attraction in Linköpings kommun

This is one of those amazing and remote settlements to be found in Sweden. We thought of how the 3 or 4 families survived here throughout the winters. The ground does not welcome cultivation, and therefore much care must have been used to preserve what grew there. The buildings were well made for protection, and evidence of livestock was clear behind the typical Swedish style “ yashgård” traditional wooden fencing. We did not have a nav. En härlig sensommardag med strålande sol och krokiga grusvägar så kom vi hit. Det var bara vi två och tystnaden. Klart värt ett besök, med den stenrika marken behövs ingen större fantasi för att förstå vilket slit invånarna hade i att odla bland rösena och försöka ta vara på det jorden kunde ge.
