Bij binnenkomst kun je kiezen uit een Duits of Engels info boekje waar uitgebreide beschrijving van de voorstellingen instaan. Ga ook zeker nog even binnen in het kerkje op de begraafplaats.

Ett trevligt litet museum om gamla begravningsseder i Sverige. Det är alltså litet men ändå informativt. Många gamla bilder. Bra skrivna affischer. Observera att man ska ringa numret vid dörren vid öppettider för att bli insläppt. Sorry tourists, very little information in English at the museum.

What a fascinating little museum. I was super looking forward to visiting it & it exceeded my expectations! I learned a ton & a very kind staff member (Karl-Magnus, I think) let me in even in the off-season & showed me some of the exhibits. We spoke at length about contemporary & past burial practices & trends, amongst other things. I’m so grateful that I got to make this stop! Thank...

Looked it up online on their Facebook page, their website and Ljungby tourist information. It said you could just go there during summer every weekday and they would open the door. So we drove 35 km one way. The door was open, but we were kicked out before we could go in. Turns out they decided to have a cleaning day. No appology. Very harsh. 70 km for nothing. Skip this place....
