Well arranged hiking area with very hilly terrain in beautiful forest. The lake Gröntjärn itself was interesting with its obvious varying level despite no rivers in or out. Nice wind shelters with fireplaces and wood free to use, several well marked hiking trails starting from the parking. Simple dry lavatory and garbage bins at the car park. Gravel road last 20km but well maintained, just take it easy on corners and crests. A nice family...
Read moreBeautiful location! There's a short trail around the tarn, about 1,5 km. During the first half you walk close to the tarn and you can easily spot tadpoles in the water. During the second half you walk on a ridge, looking down on the tarn. The surrounding forest is almost exclusively tall pine trees. There's a lean-to shelter and a great fireplace.
