The Christmas market was INCREDIBLY overcrowded and poorly managed. What is the point of selling tickets if you sell so many that people cannot move, especially when it’s only open for 4 hours? Even if you manage to move through the crowd without getting crushed, you cannot pay with cash OR card in most of the stalls - you have to use one specific smartphone app which you have to have a Swedish bank account to use. Even the parking fee was app only. Snow maintenance had been very poorly done, clearly had not been plowed in recent hours before the fair started, moving with a pram or unsteady feet was very difficult even for someone very used to winter weather. Nevertheless I'm still going to give it 5* as there was one house that was left open (by mistake I think) and we had a look around the inside - It was spectacular! It was as if time had literally stood still. If we could have had the whole experience I'm sure it would be amazing. Come when it's open (spring through to autumn I think) or book a guide and you'll not be...
