A beautiful place with lots of choices, unfortunately there is just not enough information or signs as you go along the tracks. Too many junctions where there is no signage at all. Needs more coloured markers at the very least. More information boards would be great. Even the leaflet is not that helpful, if you don't know where you are. On my own with a dog that I walk for a friend, couldn't get into the reception as I would never tie her up outside & dogs aren't not allowed inside, so i couldn't even get any help. If it hadn't been for a lovely helpful English girl walking with her grandad, I wouldn't have had a leaflet either, she gave me her English version but admitted she wasn't sure where they were going either but her grandad could read the Swedish version. Not sure if dogs aren't meant to go on the white trail, which is where I found myself, but there was a wooden bridge into the field with the cattle. My dog could not manage that bridge 🤨 but maybe we weren't meant to be there, although we'd seen nothing telling us so...finally had to admit defeat & retrace our steps. A relaxing woodland walk turned into quite a stressful morning. If you need someone to walk these trails & point out where information boards and colored signs would be best placed, just let me know. I'd love to come back and have a better...
Read moreGreat trails! There’s a cozy restaurant/cafè. Good place for families as there are also short trails that converge near a small ‘advernture park’ for kids (and adults too because it’s fun) with a picnic area. Dogs are allowed on a leash but there’s an extended fenced area for them (and you) to run around freely. There are benches around the area and along the trails which are also equipped with lampposts. There’s an adequately equipped outdoor gym and also an indoor gym, one in front of the other. There are maps available at the beginning of the trails and the paths all recognizable by the assigned colors. Barbecuing and camping are allowed at designated spots that will need a reservation for you to use. Go get...
Read moreColorful trees, and safe place for kids as well. You can see deers and beautiful birds while you are walking or running. There is a part which you can do exercise and stretching exercises, but should be careful of the tools which are extremely old and there is possibility that they break. So, it's not recommended that children play in this area. If you wanna do pick nick here, there are some amenities for sitting and doing barbecue, close to the places which you can buy coffee and wash your hands in case you like. In weekends, around lunch time, it's a bit difficult to find a parking spot and you should be patient till finding one. Btw, if you like cherries, you can see them along the specified paths...
