Vita Sandar — Attraction in Melleruds kommun

2022-08-25 The dog beach is now on the northern part of the beach - not by the rocks!! But some dog owners seem to not respect the signs or being asked to move to that area - when one doesn't want to swim with other peoples dogs and just simply replies: "is there a problem?"

Sad that people can't respect one another.

Otherwise this is a great beach for families. Theres a beachvolleyball net, a pier to rocks further out, great white sand and spots of grass if you don't like...

A couple weeks ago we came to Vita Sander for a shower and to wash our clothes. The staff were incredible helpful and kind. The shower and washing machine were very reasonable priced. It’s a shame we didn’t have time to stay the night. Campsite is right by the beach, with many facilities for kids. I highly recommend...

Det är en super fin badplats. Lång, och långgrund men inte så att man behöver gå till Lidköping för att få djup nog att simma. Därför är den också en bra kompromiss för en barnfamilj med både behov av att gräva i sanden vid vattenbrynet och att hoppa från brygga eller klipporna för de stora.

Nu finns också en markerad hundsektion. Det är i södra delarna av badet, mellan bryggan och klipporna som går ut som hundarna får hålla till. Stort nog så både hundar och dess ägare kan bada tillsammans och flera på en gång. Mycket bra.

Det ligger i närheten av campingen så en del går dit för att köpa mat från restaurangen å tar med sig ner till stranden. Campingen har också en pool å en rutschkana men dit kostar det ca 50...
