A beautiful quiet historical place to visit. The main runestones was found in 1874, with other runestones, when the church was demolished. They are dated to the late 10th century. There is just the possibility to park in front the location. Around there is nothing so dont forget your water.

In place was only the big one. If others existing in the same place they are not there anymore. Nevertheless, very impressive runestone, and the place is perfect for a short stop from your journey

Vi var och loggade en geocache I närhet. Runstenar är alltid intressanta att besöka och titta på. De är historiska dokument från vår nordiska vikingatid. Högbystenen har turligt nog fått stå kvar. Den har sluppit undan ödet gör andra runstenars och ruiner öde att bli byggstenar i slott och herresäten eller den nya religionens...
