Sehr interessante Schleusen Abstufung, die auch sehr gut anzusehen war, weil gerade 2 Boote vom unteren Niveau aufs hohe Niveau geschleust wurden. Viel Arbeit für die Schleuse Besatzung, aber auch für die jeweilige Bootsbesatzung 😉 Âhnliche Schleusenbauwerke gibt es auch in Schottland und zwar in Fort Augustus am Loch Ness um vom Loch Ness in den Caledonian Canal zu kommen bzw. umgekehrt.

Det är en fin plats att stanna till på. Fanns lite fina gäss och man kunde köpa glass. Det är parkeringsavgift och inte någon riktig höjdarsevärdhet, har man vägarna förbi kan man stanna till men inget som man måste se ifall man inte är intresserad av slussar. Såg dock inte någon båt som åkte där, då kanske det hade varit mer spännande.

This is a great place to be for relaxing and just be outside. Mostly preferred during the spring and summers. There are places to buy quick bite of snacks and ice creams. Also you have places to sit and eat with your own food like a picnic ! Wifi is also available...
