Really gorgeous place, especially with the first signs of autumn appearing! The buildings are interesting to look at and are in a perfect shape. There are a lot of signs which explain what has happened in the respective building and so therefore you really get a feeling of how life must have been back then. The old mile was spectacular and the sound of the water was so relaxing! I also enjoyed having a little Picknick at the public Picknick area by the river. The place really has an awesome history, starting as a factory, then becoming a flight field during WW2 and now beeing a free large open air museum. What I am quite appalled with is the hotel. 1350 sek for: no WiFi, no black out blinds, no checkin (key in the door and let yourself in). The room is like a converted old people’s home, the upstairs chill out area super messy with lots of empty bear cans.
