Wonderful place to spend an afternoon with children. We don't speak Swedish, but they had a nice film about the museum with English subtitles and we enjoyed walking around and seeing everything in the museum. We spent about an hour inside and then another 30 minutes outside at the playground.

This is an excellent museum, and worth a visit. The maritime history of the Baltic and beyond is displayed. An incredible number of exhibits, curiosities and precious historical pieces.

Jag var där på Beckbyxans dag som arrangeras en gång/år. Mycket fint arrangerat med konsthantverkare som ställde ut sina alster, jag uppträdde med levande musik och man kunde få prova på postrodd, köpa strömmingsmacka, lotteri och även fiskdamm för de små. Har aldrig tidigare varit där och med mäkta imponerad över hur stort museet är samt vilken otrolig samling de har och vilken trevlig personal. Som sagt: Mitt första besök men definitivt INTE det sista.
