We took this trail with our 7 year old son. We weren't sure what to expect, we visited spontaneously. We ended up loving this place! It was well maintained, there were great information signs placed around, and the environment was just breathtaking! The geological aspect is just incredible! The path around the nature reserve is partially wheelchair accessible, broad and well kept, but you cannot get all the way to the top in a chair, and there are a couple of hills that might be tough without someone to help push. You can walk above and around the fall with a security fence and bars to hold on to. Beautiful views. Staircases, but possible for disabled and wheelchairs to reach their bottom of the fall under the steep side of Getryggen, a couple of hundred metres only. Picnic tables and benches. There is also a small cave, Trollhålan, meaning the troll hole. After drought there is only little water, most water during and after snow melting and rainy summers/autumns. The cafe was unfortunately already closed when we´ve arrived, so we couldn´t explore that. The walk is very interesting for families with kids too!...
