A place not to miss! I was welcomed very warmly at the local shop. As the daily tour starts at 5pm we had some time for a nice chat where I already learned some interesting facts about elks. I was humbled by the way the animals are treated and respected here. They are still wild and it is up to them to come or not when called. It was so nice to see them coming one after the other, the female as last, to be given a treat (you can get very close to them and feed them an apple or two). Travelling there: Make sure to look out for a big wooden board with a map on it on the right beside a gate (we missed it the first time and ended up in the middle of nowhere).
