Very impressive museum, not the biggest but more than enough for a worthwhile visit. It's unbelievable how massive the airplanes are, and you can get very close.

The simulator is a MUST and truly incredible, if you have the slightest interest in jets and flying. Can not compare to a videogame.

You sit in a real Viggen cockpit with 100% working instruments, even the stick shaker if you stall the plane! You can turn your head 90° degrees while turning the plane and see the horizon.

And on top of that the instructors are great and knowledgeable.

A very interesting aircraft museum containing mostly Saab fighter jets that were stationed at F15 base from 1946 to 1998. The volunteers here have done a wonderful job of restoring and maintaining the aircraft. You can climb the ladders to look inside the cockpits. Unfortunately the simulator was only available at the weekend and I was there on a weekday. You need to book in advance and to check the operating days from...

Plenty of planes and information about them, a good selection of exhibits too as well as some excellent models of planes through the ages. If your a fan of the earlier days of jet powered flight there is lots to take in. You can really get a sense of what the base was like in its operational days! The gift shop is well stocked too! My only criticism is that parts of the museum are a touch dated and could do with a touch of modernising. This may be subject to taste though. Overall a...
