For a small attraction, the history of the ruins is well illustrated and interesting to read. The hill where the ruin is an easy climb. You can see the foundations and outline of the rooms but not much else. Apart from this, you can relax and picnic by the waters or walk around the hill. Drop by if you are close by but it's far and out of the way just to travel from Stockholm to see this. There is a small parking area close by and the walk to the attraction takes 5 minutes.

Loved the serenity and the tranquility that comes along with this place. Best time to visit is during Swedish summer on a bright sunny day.Just spread ur picnic blanket, utilize the designated grill spots, break the bread and spend time with ur loved ones alongside the channel...

The outpost ruins give no idea about the structure that existed, more enjoyable is the walk by and the view of Linasundet.

Telge hus , or Tälje hus also called Ragnhildsborg was a medieval castle, located on Slottsholmen (formerly Ragnhildsholmen ) in Linasundet , outside the district Brunnsäng in northern Södertälje in Södermanland . The first castle was built in the 14th century and the place is first mentioned in writing in 1400. From here, Telgehus County was administered between the years 1318 and 1527. The county included Öknebo , Hölebo and parts of Svartlösa district , ie today's Södertälje and Nykvarn municipalities and surroundings. Archaeological excavations have shown that the castle was surrounded by a moat and a pole barrier that stretched over large parts of Linasundet. Between 1434–36, Engelbrekt Engelbrektsson and Karl Knutsson (Bonde) led uprisings against the Kalmar Union and Erik of Pomerania . The king's bailiffs were expelled from their castles, which were then burned. To secure the important trade in Lake Mälaren , Engelbrekt tried to have a canal built through Telge (later renamed Södertälje), a work that was never completed. With a canal through Telge, traffic between the Baltic Sea and Lake Mälaren could be routed past the union-loyal Stockholm. Engelbrekt promised several important trading towns, among them the German Hansa , free lease through Telge. This is said to have upset the bailiff Bengt Stensson who was originally one of Engelbrekt's supporters. After Stensson seized a German merchant ship, Telge's house was set on fire by Erik Puke, who was one of Engelbrekt's closest men. In 1448, Karl Knutsson (Farmer) was appointed king, and he then began the work of rebuilding a castle on Slottsholmen. During the early 16th century, Telge house was described as...
