we've been travelling here regularly, 250km to go, one direction. Very professional ppl, serving you basic coffee and something to chew on, art presented in a serious and informed way. We've been going here for 20 years or so and nowadays I go there as much for meeting the guys running the place as for the art. It's like your favorite meal, suddenly you feel you must have it. Suddenly I feel I just have to go to this place. 500km travel isn't something stopping me! Go there. You'll get a new experience....

A great museum together with an open-air exhibition of modern art and an information source about prominent modern Russian sculptor Ernst Neizvestniy (with some of his works) who lived here for some time and created several of his masterpieces (one of most known works is the giant head sculpture in Magadan devoted to the soviet GULAG prisoners). Don't forget to grab a cup of coffee in the cafe and taste delicious...

One of the nicest - if not the nicest - place to visit in Sweden. Sure, it is a 90- minutes drive from Stockholm but it is worth it.
