Kyrksjön is a small lake in Bromma, a western suburb in Stockholm, Sweden. Named after its vicinity to the old Bromma Church, the lake was made part of the nature reserve Kyrksjölöten in 1997. Three other lakes are located near Kyrksjön: Judarn, Lillsjön, and Råcksta Träsk.

This is a true gem of you're into small Swedish lakes. Situated a stonesthrow from Bromma airport and in the middle of all the houses, this park lake is breathtaking. There are a lot of birds, frogs and insects if you're into that, and there are two wooden docks from which you can go into the quite murky water. This lake wasn't safe for bathing in the past, but that's been taken care of. There's no parking here, so you have to walk a bit if you manage to find a spot in the local neighborhood streets. There's also no beach here, so going into the water is only possible from the docks. The surrounding area is lush vegetation, so a walk around the lake is very nice. I highly recommend this place. The only downside is that there are no stores, restaurants, shops or toilets nearby. None the less this a very beautiful place to visit...

The place is nice and quiet with lots of people jogging. If you want peace of mind Kyrksjön nature. is the best place. I don't take many pictures, I was enjoying the view and the birds...
