Strängnäs Windmill — Attraction in Strängnäs kommun

This was a pretty cool place that we weren’t really expecting. We originally only walked up to see the view, but it was open on the day we visited. There were very helpful volunteers on site that provided a short walk through the mill and they were very knowledgeable and it was interesting. The kids got to mill grain afterwards on a small milling machine and take the flour home worth them.

Visiting the mill was free and there was parking available, but it is just a short walk up...

An interesting place to be sure, but there's not much to see when it's closed and those summer days when it's open, it's not much more than a mini-museum without much information available. A guided viewing would probably be...

Beautiful landscape and location ! The windmill is beautiful and the view is amazing! You can have a very good time with friends for fika or just explore...
