Skulptur i Pilane — Attraction in Tjörns kommun

This is a very unique place where you can engage in art while running through nature with the kids. You can spend half a day here easily. I would recommend bringing snacks and planning a picnic. It is pretty amazing and the scenic views really are beautiful. it is a great introduction to the landscape of the westcoast of Sweden. Don't miss this opportunity. Bring your family and friends to Pilane in Tjörn. Our kids loved it. It's so nice to combine art and the outdoors. You can be loud and rambunctious without disturbing others in an art gallery. Pleasently surprised. Beautiful landscape with breathtaking views of the sea where the sun was setting.

Some interesting sculptures, apparently they change them up each year, replacing with new ones etc.

Upon looking at pictures, I saw a sculpture of a Horse, which looked great, but this wasn’t there when we arrived, and I had found out it was from 2017.. but luckily, it still lives.. Not such a long drive away, in Uddevalla, ‘Strandpromenaden’ at the top...

Skulpture i Pilane ist ein wunderbarer Ort – eigentliche hätte der Ort 5 Punkte verdient, aber ich fange mit den Mängeln an. In der kommenden Zeit sollte der Ort noch etwas an den sanitären Anlagen tun – die Toitoiletten waren bis … und sind nicht Rollstuhlgerecht. Auch im Park werden es Rollifahrer nicht sehr einfach haben. Zwar gibt es hier einen geschotterten Hauptweg, aber man kommt damit vielleicht nur an 20% der Kunstwerke heran und die Rollifahrer sollten noch einen Schieber dabei haben, damit entsprechende Steilpassagen leichter überwunden werden können. Zurück zum Skulpture i Pilane. Die Anlage ist Parkähnlich angelegt und das Wunderbare ist die Symbiose von Geschichte (es gibt ein ca. 2000 Jahre altes Gräberfeld und entsprechende Richtplätze – übrigens die Größten im Bohuslän), ca. 20 Kunstwerk und das Ganze befindet sich noch in einer wunderbaren Natur mit Aussichtspunkten auf das offene Meer bzw. auf die Wälder Schwedens. Die Verweildauer wird ca. 2 Stunden betragen und man kann sich von der angesprochenen Symbiose berauschen und seinen Gedanken freien Lauf lassen. Ein Muss für die Besucher dieser Region. Der Eintrittspreis liegt bei ca. 14 Euro pro Person und am Kassenhäuschen befindet sich noch ein kleines Bistor – eine schwedische...
