AMAZING!! I went in without a tour but a info folder that was handed to me. Mind blown! This castle that looks fairly square on the outside has many layers inside and ’in between’ areas, a dungeon (of course) and so many stone stairways. It’s like stepping back into time. You can just imagine being there back then. Great information on history and persons in every room. Go and soak up the atmosphere!!

Ps: I noticed this really nice, peculiar odour throughout the castle, from top levels to the dungeon. Very consistent, no ’hotspots’ of this nice subtle smell. I asked the lady at the front outside desk what it was assuming they had placed the scent but she had never noticed. If anyone knows what it is, please respond to this. I want it in my house!

Also a nice café just next to Stenhus and...

I was going visit this place according to Touristoffice recomendations and buy theater Tickets. it was me and my daughter 14 years old was looking at the place, Some people was training in the theater Gustav vase, Man whio was acting on the stage looking at us in a racisit way and scared me and my daughter, Saying with an angry Voice Hallo , whats you do ? There is alot of Swedish was there , he didnt do the same to them. The actors seems racisits and this place suppose to be for tourisits but its seems only for local people, be careful, the area and actors racists, dont waste your money for their Tickets. I was planning to buy tickets for theater but I wont buy. I was there at 15:30 during official allowed...

An historic house in beautiful surroundings. The house itself was very interesting to explore. We were given a tour by a guide who spoke both Swedish and English, which was very useful. There is a lot of text around the house explaining the history of the family but it's all only in Swedish, so the guide is pretty essential if you don't speak/read Swedish (like me) as you wouldn't really get much out of the visit. We ate at the restaurant and the food was very nice and pretty good price. I visited here with family and we didn't spend that long here but if you wanted to read up on the history and explore the surrounding area a bit you could spend a...
