Mickelbo Farm — Attraction in Umeå kommun

Really nice place with lots of animals that seems to live a good life. I really recommend reading up on the animals beforehand. Some things which would need improvement are: Dogs are allowed, but there are no warnings about dogs close to the Llamas, Alpackas or Camels. These animals are natural enemies to dogs, and can act very aggressive towards them. Worst case scenario is that dogs can be killed (disemboweled) by these animals There are not even close to enough personal close to the animal enclosures, this sorrily leads to mistreatment of the animals. We absolutely loved it here. When you first drive in it looks a bit shabby but once inside its great. The animals all looked very well cared for and the staff seemed knowledgable and caring when looking after them. My son absolutely loved the electric cars and the pony ride (only 20sek!) Var mitt första besök. Har min syster och hennes två pojkar på besök i Umeå och vi spenderade närmare 4 timmar på Mickelbo Gård. Själv helt paff att jag bott så nära (Umeå) till ett ställe med så mycket fina djur i snart 20 år utan ett besök. Stort plus att man även får klappa/mata vissa av djuren i deras hängnad. Min syster och grabbarna har varit till Lyckelse och tyckte absolut att detta var bättre.

Tycker att inträdet för 2 vuxna + 2 barn var skäligt med tanke på allt vi fick ut av dagen.

Matmässigt så åt en av pojkarna våffla och den andra varmkorv med bröd (nöjda), jag & min syster åt högrevsburgare (jag en dubbel 150gr). Helt fantastiskt bra kött och kryddning på själva köttet var perfekt. Kompositionen med rostad lök och sötstark senap (?) m.m. kanske inte är för alla, men vi älskade...
