Västerås historiska skeppsmuseum — Attraction in Västerås kommun

Quirky and different place, lots of old ships and reconstructions of viking-age ships. Not sure how true to history the ships are (thinking of the largest one, the cogg). Unfortunately the information signs are bleached by the sun and are hard to read. They do their own ice cream, Very tasty but also pricey. The staff might have had a bad day when we were there - seemed annoyed to have guests they had to serve. Not a single smile, just a bad attitude. I guess it would be possible to swim from the pier, but this isn't the place you go for a swim. They do rent out cayaks and have fun activities like...
