Vallby Open Air Museum is an open-air museum in Västerås. The museum is located at Skerikesvägen 2 near the E18 about two kilometers north of the center of Västerås. The museum began construction in 1921 and is currently run by the city of Västerås.

Great experience for the whole family. We did a guided tour with a group of seven. The guide told about the history as if it was today. Her knowledge, enthusiasm and sense of humour made it a wonderful and educative experience. Afterwards we sat in the garden for a lunch at the local restaurant, Wärdshuset Gaggeska Garden.
