Måkläppen is a nature reserve that protrudes from the Falsterbo peninsula in southwestern Sweden. It was created by sandbanks built on top of a moraine core. The Måkläppen nature reserve and nature conservation association was formed in 1899 through the efforts of conservationists including Paul Rosenius.

November to January the naturreservat is open for visitors. The place is a good 1 hour walk from the golf course. If you want to see the seals you need to have binoculars or a camera with a strong zoom since seals are far on sand islands

Really nice place for a long walk and nature experience! You can go here between 1:st of Nov to 31:st of Jan. Outside of these dates it’s closed as it is a seal sanctuary. Also, dogs are not allowed.

Although we were disappointed not to see any seals, this pristine nature reserve is still worth visiting. The area offers beautiful coastal views. Note that it's only open from November to January.
