We enjoyed our visit here. The zoo was compact and didn't have many animals that typically attract fanfare, e.g., big five, large predators, and rare animals. Expect instead lots of goats, horses and cows. Nevertheless, the collection appeared nicely varied and insightfully shown (although conservation status was not consistently displayed), and the animals seemed to be in good care. I especially loved the surrounding landscape that blends well with the habitats, such as the open plains where the goats and alpacas roam freely. Read morePerfect place to take a three year old to meet pigs 🐖 turtles 🐢 and zebra's 🦓 for the first time in her life. Extremely happy outing she now takes her stuffed animals and places them around the house pretending she is at the animal park.
The park itself is one giant ring with several playgrounds and a cafe near the entrance.
Best to bring your own food and enjoy one of the many benches near the animals but you can buy a simple lunch here or a coffee ☕ or cake 🍰.
