Wildpark Roggenhausen — Attraction in Aarau

This place is really cool. There’s a vending machine, super clean bathrooms, small restaurant, lots of picnic tables & benches around. A small restaurant there too. I didnt eat there so I dont know the food choices. But the staff were friendly. Apart from the animals, there is a huge playground with swings, climbing things, and a coin operated electric bumber cars on a track. There’s paid parking lot, thought the walk is 10-20 minutes from the main attractions. The nice walk is on a paved road: winding through trees and meadow openings where deer etc graze. Which you can feed. Bring coins to buy a box of animal food from the vending machines...

Overall disappointing: only dear seems to be kept OK, other enclosures stink, poop peacocks are being chased by children. Both the restaurant and the self-service eatery are awful: expensive, with unfriendly staff, not accepting credit cards. The playground is a rip-off machines are often broken - that's after they take the money. All attractions are paid by coins only, nearly impossible to change coins in the restaurant. Very...

The animals are so kind and are used to children's touch and love.. very beautiful and majestic to see few animals enjoying in their packs. Capra Ibex is one of the main attraction, they have 2 males and they are simply the magic of mother nature.. Do come with your family, there are also peaceful barbeque spots.. this is the place for friends, family and couples and even for singles who love to watch at these...
