Burgruine Belfort — Attraction in Albula/Alvra

If you drive further than map offers you here, you’ll reach a small parking area with the start of a rout up to the castle. The way itself was quite easy for someone with zero experience in hiking and not wearing proper shoes, though with the amount of stairs to climb one might find it difficult to explore to the fullest.

Ein schöner Platz zum Hinwandern. Viele Routen führen zur Ruine, wir nahmen die kürzeste, die vom Parkplatz. Der Weg dorthin war angenehm zu gehen, sonnige und schattige Abschnitte waren vorhanden. Es ist eine begehbare Burgruine mit schöner Weitsicht. Ein Platz zum.grillieren, sogar ein grosser Kräutergarten war mit vorhanden. Das Highlight dieser Ruine war der Aufgang zum Turm. Meine bislang längste Stahltreppe mit einer Aussichtsplatte, wie ich sie noch nie vorher gesehen hatte. Sollte man Schwindelfrei sein? Keine Ahnung. Etwas mulmig war mir beim Abgang dann doch etwas. Genial aufgebaut und befestigt, die Physik lässt Grüssen. Oben angekommen war ich erst mal enttäuscht, ich komme nicht bis ganz nach oben auf den Turm. Geht nicht.
