Often terrible weather up here but when it's good, it's amazing. Even when it's terrible it's pretty damn good. Decent skiing at the beginning of May in 2018 because the snow was just that abundant. There are a lot of freeride slopes from here, most requiring training and the complete package of gear. Don't try them without training! It's not worth your life. But for the more basic freeride lovers like me there great skiing when the snow is fresh because the resort avoids grooming everything...

Setzt eure COVID-Massnahmen durch!
Ich war Donnerstag & Freitag (10. & 11. Dezember 2020) hier Skifahren, es ist noch Vorsaison und hat wenig Leute.
Die grossen Gondeln werden nur teilweise gefüllt und überall hat es Beschilderungen: "Maskenpflicht auf den Bahnen", sowie Desinfektionsmittel. Vorbildlich.
Problem: Schweizer Selbstverantwortung. In den Gondeln tragen keine 50% der Leute eine Maske. Die meisten haben ihren Schal knapp übers Maul gezogen und bei nicht wenigen ist auch die Nase gut sichtbar. Bitte weist die Kunden AKTIV draufhin und verkauft vor der Gondel Masken für 2.-, sonst werden die Skigebiete bald wieder...
