We were very excited to go in this adventure on the scooter coming down the mountain . No one explained the brakes were as powerful as they were and unfortunately I paid the price only 3 minutes in. I passed two ladies slowly and then let the brakes go a little and put them on a little too much as I felt I was free wheeling too fast and then the scooter came to an abrupt stop and of course so did I!! I flew over the handlebars and landed on my face breaking my nose, cutting my face hands and knees!! I was thankfully rescued by the two ladies who I slowly passed, called the company who really didn’t care and was taken to a waiting ambulance who took me to the local hospital!! 3 x rays later and ultra sound I am ok but very sore and bruised… knowing what I do now I would never have gone on this!! Read moreFun experience riding down the mountain, as long as you are careful. The path appears brand news, and the stand-up bikes were very well maintained with excellent brakes. However, you can get going very fast downhill, and if you are not an experienced bike rider with knowledge of the front and back braking system, you could easily fall. Read moreAn einem regnerischen Tag gingen wir voller vorfreude aufs Niederhorn. Da es zu erst gewitterte haben wir dies im Bergrestaurant ausgehart und als der Himmel lichtete machten wir uns auf dem weg zur Trottinetstation. Der Himmel wurde schon blau aber die Herren an der Station wollte uns keine mehr vermieten und haben Feierabend gemacht (14.00 Uhr). Das Wetter wäre locker für die Talfahrt noch freundlich und sonnig geblieben. Unser Ausflug war aber daher leider für nichts. Einzig und allein das Bergrestaurant war unser retter.
