Gorges de l'Areuse — Attraction in Boudry

None of the photos can show the beauty of the gorge. You really need to go there. Just take time, and try to walk the whole valley, from the beginning to the end. It will be unique walking experience. It is not to tough to walk, but demands you to be fit. If your legs hurt or you can't walk a bit longer, do not go there.

Also, there are often people diving in the ice cold river — not sure how fun that is, but it is definitely a way to spend time there. Just be sure to take good shoes.

Also, while walking, you should try some of the paths that lead you out of the gorge to the neighboring villages where you can get stuff to drink or eat. And don't forget the camera for thousands of bad photos you will...

This gorge is beautiful and because the start is a bit hidden, there were not many people, we also went around 12. We hiked with two kids for around 45 minutes, so we parked the car (Paid a small fee with EasyPark) and because one route was closed, we went up and inside the forest a bit. Randomly we found a beautiful place with a grill place where we stayed many hours. You and nature alone, perfect with family. You can also hike the whole day, going in all directions. Magnífico lugar. Mi esposo y yo hicimos toda la gorges en 9 horas ida y vuelta. Tenemos una Cádiz California equipada lo que nos facilitó nuestra decisión de hacer toda la gorges en dos veces y disfrutar al máximo este lugar súper magnífico. Llegamos un lunes a 14h00 a Boudry ,visitamos el pueblito y comenzamos nuestra caminada a 15h del parking de la hidroeléctrica de Boudry,ese día fuimos solo hasta el puente todo en hierro en forma de olas,picnic en la mesa que está a seguir el puente y nos regresamos, el regreso lo hicimos por la carretera para cambiar un poco el paisaje y conocer más el lugar y hacer el regreso en menos tiempo. Fueron 3h contando que yo hago muchas fotos,mi esposo y yo somos muy curiosos y nos paramos muchos para observar,descubrir y disfrutar bien el paisaje ,el lugar ,etc. El martes decidimos hacer la otra parte de la gorges. Fuimos hasta el pueblo Noiraigue que también visitamos y a 11h comenzamos nuestra caminada de 6 horas ida y vuelta me de esta vez no utilizamos la carretera para regresar. Regresamos por el mismo camino ya que este trayecto que fue hasta el mismo puente de hierro que visitamos el dia anterior es mucho mas bonito y hay mas cosas para ver y descubrir.
