Grand St.Bernard Hospice museum — Attraction in Bourg-Saint-Pierre

Very cute and loving dogs. However, I was shocked by the behavior of the caretaker there. At mealtime, due to her inattention, one of the dogs came out of the paddock and she reacted very badly, screaming and violently pulling the dog. He pulled the dog's ears in front of us until the puppy started to cry. I told her to stop, but she, very nervous, said that she was just pulling his ears and the dog had to obey. We are dog lovers and we also have dogs. I agree that they must listen, but we must not beat them and be violent. In my opinion, she shouldn't work here if she doesn't love dogs and behaves like that (in front of tourists too).. I paid a ticket to see a dog crying because it was beaten by the caretaker. Interesting exhibition. It's rather a museum of the St Bernard Pass than a museum of St Bernard dogs, though. If you expect the latter one, you can be very disappointed. Outside you visit a small area with ~10 dogs and inside you can read a few boards describing their history. posto spettacolare. lo stupore del panorama circostante ti avvolge già quando sali per i tornanti che avvolgono i monti per culminare quando si arriva al lago che giace tra le vette come un diamante incastonato in un gioiello. il museo invece mi ha deluso parecchio. abbiamo pagato 10 euro a testa per vedere quattro animali impagliati e un po di cianfrusaglie sparse che per carità,avranno avuto il loro valore storico ma non valevano il prezzo pagato . altra delusione provata quando credevo di poter stare almeno a contatto con i cani. ho dovuto aspettare che li portassero a fare una passeggiata per potergli fare una carezza e per riuscire a strappare una foto con loro ho dovuto vincere la resistenza delle addette che erano molto scortesi ,non profferivano una sola parola d italiano e mi trattavano con sufficenza ,mentre ho notato che si intrattenevano amabilmente con francesi e svizzeri. ho alloggiato per una settimana in un paese della valle d aosta e tutti,dico tutti parlavano le lingue confinanti correntemente,invece li a pochi metri dall italia snobbavano palesemente la nostra lingua e ci trattavano come persone di seconda categoria. sconsiglio vivamente tutti gli italiani ad andarvici e invito a snobbare a nostra...
