PRIVATELY OWNED. It’s a shame the public cannot visit this castle. It look nice from a far but once you get nearby you realize is not very well maintained. The fact that is private is not very well displayed.

It’s a private building but the locals are used to turists and very friendly. Quite a hike to get up. When you pass the gate turn sharp right and go up the little stairs for a panorama view of the area.

Kleiner Bonzenhügel,aber wunderschön!! Ich als leidenschaftliche Wanderin gehe liebend gerne den senkrecht hinaufgehenden Burgweg hinauf. Sehr freundliche Bewohnerinnen (besonders Besitzerinnen). Traumhafter Ausblick und Garten (teilweise Privat), besonders der Immergrün hat es mir angetan. Busse kommen auch am sonntag super regelmäßig und Burg gilt als gut erreichbar. Schönste Burgherrin in ganz Baselland! Sehr empfehlenswert.
