Cascata del Salto — Attraction in Circolo della Maggia

It's a must to anyone going by maggia ,it's a beautiful and mysterious waterfall ,it's like a wall of water that falls into a small and very deep lake ,the day I went here was almost raining and there was a group of divers swimming ,the rocks where the water runs on ,look so polished .

Access to the waterfall is ...not bad ,bit might prove to some people difficult ,the Google maps points to a direction where you can actually go near the waterfall bit the ,kinda beton walk is to small , and way to difficult to pass ,so I went to the module of the rocks and found a way to cross it to the other side , the even there the way is very limited and slipery!

So this being said if you are not adventurous 😜 like me ,try to find the other way !

Ho ! If you got lost while walking your way there ,find the trees with light pink ribbons they wil lead you back to the trail!

If you love nature and cold water, this is one of the best places you'll see/be. Given that the water is cold, it's best to come here in summer (that's for sure-unless you're adventurous you can come in winter too 😜), nice view of nature with the sound of the waterfalls, you can lay on the big rocks, chill, have some snacks, and it's also clean (let's not throw our trashes here especially your...

Amazing place, I recommend to visit. I personally did not understand the markings on the first try. Respectively, I did not find the designation of private land anywhere. But during the first search where I came across this... (see photo) Be careful when stepping on rocks! Best regards, Josef
