.made two hikes, one on 1958 and one in 1959 being 16/17 years old. Walking from Treggia, 10 hrs to and from Camoghe, met not one person on this route. Life changing experience. Recommend: never walk alone in the mountains, though in 1980 I walked Everest trail to Lobuche and found at 5000 m sand dunes , around the corner a sudden snow shower made this trip of a fairy tale.
