This is an amazing museum that contains many functional music machines. You must take the tour (included in entry ticket) with a tour guide to see the machine in action, otherwise is would be rather boring to see them static.
My tour guide was extremely passionate and knowledgeable, showed us many machines within the 90 mins tour in English. (While another tour is in German). I'm extremely impressed by the chronology of the tour that covered grandfather chookoo clocks and went all the way to programmable piano and organs. My tour guide explained the difference between different programming medium (cardboard, paper, steel plate, drum, wax drum, pegs) and their sensing mechanism using vacuum, compress air and mechanical probe....
