Barrage de Salanfe — Attraction in Evionnaz

So the idea was to first have a small little stroll with a bunch of friends in the region.

We ended up following the navigation to the Camping/ Parking space by car.

My Partner and I were the only ones with proper hiking shoes, which was the right choice at the time. It is possible to also go with light shoes but i would recommend proper shoes with a good sole as there are a lot of uneven surfaces.

The Nature is really calming, you got no Phone signal for these pesty Call Centers which is a big Plus and you are even able to see some Mountain goats!!

It was a rather challenging hike for the untrained person. Therefore i would advise on taking a lot of water and plenty of snacks with you, just to be sure.

Sadly the Damm wasn't filled up but we got to touch and hike through snow yet again!

(It only ended our Friendship like 4 times, there were a lot of swearwords and insults thrown at each other but overall it was a great experience)

We zijn afgelopen vakantie deze berg omhoog gelopen met onze kinderen. Het was een super mooie wandeltocht. Halverwege kun je kiezen naar rechts voor een uitdagende stuk klimmen of links via een pad naar boven te lopen. Allebei de kanten op is fijn als je een goede conditie hebt. Eenmaal boven is de reis ernaar toe echt de moeite waard! Je kunt met het openbaar vervoer tot de camping komen en daar start de route naar boven wat je wel een halve dag kost om te komen. Not an easiest walk, but nice if you like going up and up. To my opinion you can find more beautiful lakes in Switzerland, but this one not...
