I took my little brother for his birthday since loves learning about history and he absolutely loved it!

Theres lots of tanks and weaponry you can look at. It was super interesting for me as well, because theres quite a range of material. Theres medical stuff, weaponry and historical facts around the two halls you can visit. Theres also a museum shop with real war artefacts & souvenirs. Inside the first hall (attached to the shop) theres this small restaurant & bathrooms, which are really clean) For lunch they sometimes do Bratwurst & Schnitzel with bread outside, which was delicious!

Theres various stuff you can book in advance- I bought a ticket for my brother where they did a tour with the leopard which involved going full speed etc. Theres also this bridge-tank you can look at while it builds the bridge, for free. Additionally, you could book a group tour or buy this ticket for the tank simulator, but it was a little too expensive for me (CHF 50 i think)

I really recommend visiting this museum, and I will definitely be going again. They host tank-weekends and other events which are worth...

This was a much larger collection than we expected. If you want to appreciate it you will need half a day.

Very pleasant staff who I think volunteer. Interested to talk to us.

In the main building there is 4 or 5 floors. We didn't realise that there is another building until 15 minutes before closing which has a very large collection of tanks. The staff kindly kept the hall open for us to have a look around. Thank you so much. They had some in there which I've never seen before.

I'm sure we will be returning as soon as the Tiger is running.

Nice cafe which we had some lunch in.

You can even go inside one of the armoured vehicles.

The Tiger II is looking...

What an excellent museum - especially for a neutral country! It must be said that although neutral, Switzerland has been responsible for producing some of the finest armaments, and much of that history is on display here. There are two very large buildings - one has everything from cannons, missiles, small arms, models etc, and even a V1 flying bomb with a cockpit. The second building houses the heavy armour, including tanks and other vehicles from Europe, Russia, and across to the USA, both wartime and post war. Special thanks to Walter who gave us an impromptu and unexpected tour...

Visited this Museum on a Weekend and greeted by very knowledgeable Team of Volunteers. They provided all the background information of the different types of Tanks and even let us give a peek behind the curtain of the Tank simulator. Special Thank to Andre Perret who gave me and my son a chance to see the insight of the Gepard , a Tank I served on 30 years ago. I could show my son the insight and all the function of it. Thanks to the Staff for a very friendly treatment during the visit. We will come back
