The Spirit of the Water: Local folklore speaks of a spirit or "water nymph" who resides in the waters of the Bergli Stüber Waterfall. According to the myth, this spirit is said to protect the purity of the waterfall, ensuring that it remains untouched and clean. Legend has it that those who treat the surrounding nature with respect are blessed with good fortune, while those who pollute or harm the environment near the falls may face bad luck.

Healing Waters: Another myth suggests that the waters of the Bergli Stüber Waterfall have healing properties. Locals in past generations would come to the waterfall to bathe or collect water, believing that it could cure minor ailments or bring vitality. Although there is no scientific evidence supporting this belief, it remains part of the local...

A natural wonder. If you travel by road to this waterfall you will find nearby parking from where it is only a five minute gentle walk to see the spectacle.

My option together with my son was to get off the train at Linthal and walk to the waterfall. This took us about an hour and the ascent was 300M. Walking back to Linthal took only 30 minutes.

All in all it's a beautiful sight and well worth visiting. Be careful because inside the cave behind the waterfall it is very wet, very noisy, dark and muddy. Protect yourself and your...

A very impressive waterfall that is just a short walk from the carpark. The water of the waterfall is so luminous blue and it is such an amazing experience to walk behind a waterfall. There is a warning sign to enter the section behind the waterfall but everyone went anyway. It’s slippery at some parts but largely, just be extra careful and wear good shoes with grips! There is also a food truck at the entrance selling food...

This magnificient waterfall is a great opportunity to refresh when cycling up the klausen pass. This time I was lucky to see it running with lots of water. The light in the morning enhances crisp colors. As the debris on the floor of the cave indicates, the entrance reminds of its danger. Pictures from the platform above are equally nice.
