Elm Sportbahnen — Attraction in Glarus Süd

Small ski resort with gorgeous views of the mountains across the valley. The views, buffet restaurant, hiking trails, and playground are not as exciting as other more popular spots like Flumserberg or Engelberg. It can get a bit crowded in winter, but that’s not unusual.

But the big, fabulous trampolines and free tricycles in the summer, and the well-groomed sled run in the winter - you can take the gondola up and sled down, rinse and repeat- have made Elm a favorite, low-stress day trip for our family...

A great choice for a family trip. You can send the kids to look for "gold" and exchange it at the restaurant for a small treat in meantime you can enjoy your coffee or the local Elmer citro. We had some rain and we're happy to have this restaurant. A large room for kids' entertainment is available (Hüpfburg, Trampolin, table tennis/ football and a table for drawing pictures - everything inside!! After 1.5 h we could go for hiking - Riesenwald - good for kids 3-13 years and after our (small) hike there were many things kids could do around...
