Great lake nearby #gstaad . #arnensee can be reached by car . At the entrance you need to pay 5 swiss franc ( only coins , no credit card ) to be able to go with your car till there. I just walked. Takes around 1.5 hours till the lake enjoying the nature. Beautiful hiking walk. Then at the arrival there is a nice chalet/restaurant where you may drink an eat. You may do pedalo on the lake and stand up paddle. There is even a place for toddlers to play. Fully recommended.

Great Swimming Lake. You need to pay a toll to drive up the access road 7CHF but it does take a credit card now. As soon as you’ve paid the barrier lifts so don’t do what I did and park off the road to pay! The lake is beautiful - you swim, hire a pedalo or a paddle board. Lots of parking available even on a sunny day.

Beautifully secluded lake in the swiss alps, Berner Oberland. The Arnensee is well known among fishers for there is plenty to catch. Hike to the top of the surrounding hills/mountains to get a splendid view of the Glacier 3000 ski region and the lake itself. There is a restaurant at the lakeshore serving hearty meals. Driving a car up the valley will cost you 5 CHF, pay by 5 CHF coin, no change. Also, there is a cute, cheap, unattended campground nearby the lake, the perfect place to pitch your tent for...
